Sixth Patriarch Temple(Liuzu Si) is one of the most well-known Buddhist temples in China and worldwide, because it is closely connected with the tradition of Chan Buddhism, which is rooted in China. It is located in the mountains of the Zhenshan region in the South Chinese city of Sihui, The temple is a magnet for many Buddhists from home and abroad. Liuzu means the Sixth also the last Patriach of Zen Buddhism. His name is Huineng (惠能 638–713), a Buddhist monk who is one of the most important figures in according to standard hagiographies.
