We must seek to unlock our Inner Wisdom, because knowledge is vast and infinite, while life is short and temporary.
One does not need lots of money in order to be of value, nor a high position or an important status to feel valuable. Life itself embodies our most important values.
The primary desire for the cultivation of wisdom is to engage in the relationship between people and ourselves, while the essence of cultivating merit-making is to deal with the relationship amongst people. Above and beyond all this, the most important and intimate human relationship, is the relationship between Spouses, Parents and Children.

To cure the physical diseases of our bodies, we must first cure those diseases of our minds. An average individual is plagued with all kinds of mental baggage, which consequently inflicts diseases onto our physical self. Thus, we must first 'remove ' this root problem, which is the primary cause, in order to cure any disease of the mind. Our minds are also often in a state of scatter ; easily succumbing to greed, anger and delusions. As such we have to first engage in the transformation of our minds, by understanding and embracing the ways of the Dharma. This process is of paramount importance to our present life; the cultivation of Buddhism ... to purify our thoughts and heal ourselves.

Zen teaching differs from the other teachings of the world, for it's not merely to inculcate knowledge or solve an isolated objective. It involves a quest that is more holistic, which is to realise Enlightenment.
If one cannot practice lessons learned into one's everyday life, then it is just simply Buddhism knowledge acquired, minus the wisdom.
